Earl Shaner
Began lawn bowling in 2005 when I relocated to Florida. Participated mainly in social bowling for the first two years, then began entering local and divisional tournaments.
In 2008 my partner and I won our division open pairs and then our division playdowns leading to the U.S. Championships. In the 2009 U.S. Open our team placed 2nd in the fours and my partner and I also had good success in several divisional tournaments. In the 2010 U.S. Open my partner and I placed 4th in pairs and our team won the 2nd flight in fours. I am excited about being selected to Team USA for the first time and especially the opportunity to compete in Tiger Bowls. |
