World Cup Indoor Singles play is in two sections; a round-robin is played in each section.
The top bowler in each section is guaranteed a spot in the semi-finals and a medal.
The second and third place bowlers in each section are randomly matched in playoff games, the winners of which play against the section winner for a spot in the finals.
Games are two sets of nine ends.
If the players split the sets, there is a three-end tie-breaker set.
If it is still tied after three ends, then there will be a final fourth end played.
