Member Training - Bowler Development Programs

Coaching Clinics are for training and certification of club level coaches.
Any bowler with greater than 2 years experience can attend a clinic.
The clinic curriculum provides a comprehensive and consistent approach to coaching.

Skills Clinics are offered annually following the SC Open for any women who is a Bowls USA member.

Markers assist in singles games.
Anyone with an interest and working knowledge of bowls can assist in singles matches as a marker.
The duties are prescribed by World Bowls and listed in the Laws of the Sport of Bowls.

Umpire Certification assures the rules of the game are fairly and consistently applied.
All members of Bowls USA are eligible to become an umpire.
Knowing the Laws of the Sport of Bowls in depth is an advantage to yourself and fellow bowlers.
