The Historic Pasadena Lawn Bowling Club is hosting its first annual "Rose Lawn Bowl" Sunday, Dec 31 at 10 a.m.
Alumni and parents of students from the two schools playing in the Rose Bowl Football game will face off. There are 9 slots open for each school. the University of Georgia and Oklahoma University. The event will be 3 games of triples. The team which wins two games is the champion. The winning school will have its name engraved on our permanent trophy. This year there will be no prize money, just bragging rights. But this also means entry is FREE. Food, drinks and snacks will be provided. And we are expecting local TV, radio and print media at the event. We expect a mix of lawn bowlers, and people who have never stepped foot on a green. We will do our best to make sure the teams have an equal level of talent. Act fast, there are only 9 spots for each school. Any questions?
