World Bowls is the recognized International Federation for the Sport of Bowls.
Currently there are 55 Member National Authorities, in 51 countries, across six continents, that are members of World Bowls.
World Bowls' mission is to encourage, promote, develop and ensure the growth of our sport throughout the world and to assist those who wish to develop bowls as a sport in their country.

Each member nation has 2 representatives.  Bowls USA Delegates are Neil Furman (SW) and Dee McSparran (SC).

Responsibilities of an International Delegate to World Bowls
  • A delegate's primary role is clearly communicate, and vote, in the interest of their nation.  Bowls USA delegates are directed by the Executive Committee and Council as to the Organizations opinions and stances on World Bowls issues.
  • Bowls USA's delegates attend World Bowls meetings.  These meetings are called by World Bowls and usually held at one of the sites of the World Bowls tournaments, ie Atlantic Rim, Asia Pacific, World Bowls.
