Become a Bowls USA - Certified Club Coach
Coaching and the development of bowls are the key elements in the success of our sport. It is the objective of Bowls USA to have well-qualified coaches across the country to assist in
raising the enjoyment and standard of our sport and to provide the necessary assistance to
players of all ages and skill levels.
Bowls USA offers coach training and certification clinics around the country.
Any Bowls USA member may register for the course if they have been bowling at least two years.

Newest Club Coaching Course Graduates
Pinehurst LBC has added three new coaches to improve the level of clinics and training. Dan Delgarn who has been a tournament bowler for 16 years, Terry Wetzel, Pinehurst LBC President and bowler for 3 years and Jeff Haidet who took and passed both written and on-green assessment tests to qualify. Pinehurst now has 5 coaches and 4 umpires. We are looking forward to utilizing the clinics that were included with this revised program.
Qualifications to take the Course
A minimum of at least two years bowling
Be a Bowls USA member
Written endorsement from participant's club required
Preferably be a Bowls USA umpire (desirable but not mandatory,
at this time)
Dick Mueller, Jan Lena, Bill Ohle, Debbie Tupper and Dee McSparran at a coaching class held at the South Central Open.
